"Viva Cristo Rey", "Long live Christ the King!"

The Cristero Rebellion (1926-1929): Plutarco Elias Calles enforces laws aimed at destroying the influence of the Catholic Church in Mexican Life. The factions of a corrupt Government are carried out by a violent army. The federales brutally murder those who oppose the anti-Catholic laws.

On this video you will see Mexican defenders of the Catholic Faith from this era described above. Members of the Cristeros who are still alive describe what it was like when they fought against an army formed by an evil government whose aim was to extinguish the fires of Catholicism in the hearts of the Mexican people. There are some photos of violence on this video- may not be for children nor those who are sensitive to brutality. However, we post this lest we forget.....
