'Quarr Abbey which is a Roman Catholic monastery: the home of Benedictine monks. The community at Quarr seek to live a life centred on the worship of God, work and prayer and fellowship. Several times a day the monks gather together to pray the psalms, listen to the Word of God and celebrate Holy Mass in the beautiful yet also austere church. You are welcome to this house of prayer and share with the community in the celebration of Divine Worship or simply to spend a few moments in prayer and silent meditation. Quarr Abbey seeks to be a place of peace so that all who come to it may find the peace of Christ in their hearts, for it is only the peace which Christ Jesus brings that is the source of true happiness.'
