Andere kontemplative Orden wie Benediktiner und Zisterzienser haben sich im Laufe ihrer Geschichte der Welt geöffnet und Aufgaben vor allem in den Bereichen Seelsorge und Lehre übernommen.

This totalitarian system tried to depersonalize and to cancell the human being in an ideology full of lias and false expectations, for this reason it could not accept any other faith. Million Christians killed or deported in lagers, in jails etc. We have to do our best to not repeat it anymore even if still today there is who hopes in its return...

The porterie of the convent was blessed in 1992 by Bishop Billé, then bishop of Laval, and the cloister by his successor Archbishop Maillard in 1998. The Brotherhood is separate and distinct from the Order of Preachers, which they have received "spiritual patrimony" in 1988.
